emecon is an online journal issuing two numbers a year, with all articles double-blind reviewed. It addresses scholars, researchers, students, and policy-makers with an interest in the development of the economy and society in the region. Its editorial board consists of scholars eminent in the field.
emecon offers multi-disciplinary perspectives, across political economy, economic sociology and industrial relations. It aims at a better understanding of contemporary socio-economic life in Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on the link between society and economy, presenting current and comparative studies using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
